For the Raspberry Syrup

Instructions
Step 1
To make the raspberry syrup: combine the raspberries, sugar, and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and then simmer until slightly reduced. Strain to remove raspberry seeds and chill.
Step 2
For the cocktail: combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake well for several minutes until thoroughly combined. Strain through the shaker into 4 glasses. Top with fresh raspberries as garnish if desired. Serve immediately.
