Ingredients

0.5onion
chopped
1 headgarlic
peeled & minced
1 lbground chicken
or protein of choice, turkey, beef, or tofu
½ tspsalt
¼ tsppepper
1 ¼ cupsbrown rice
uncooked
6 ozfrozen spinach
2 ¼ cupswater
3 cupscans cooked chickpeas
2 15 oz ea, or beans of choice
½ cupfresh parsley
chopped
1 lbfrozen broccoli

Instructions
Step 1
Sauté onions and garlic in oil for a few minutes until translucent.
Step 2
Add ground meat and cook 8-10 minutes, until cooked through.
Step 3
Add seasoning, and spinach.
Step 4
Turn down to a simmer and cook 20-30 minutes, stirring 1-2 times.
Step 5
Put rice and water in rice cooker. When done, stir in chickpeas and parsley, and season to taste.
Step 6
Steam broccoli and serve on the side.
