These are crispy and chewy fried seaweed rolls (gimmal-i) made with rice paper. Perfect to make as a snack!

Instructions

Step 1
Begin by cooking your glass noodles in boiling water for 7-8 minutes.

Drain the water and place your glass noodles in a big bowl.

Add soy sauce, sesame, sugar and minced garlic. Mix thoroughly.

Next, cut your nori sheets into 4 so it fits into your rice paper.

Get your rice papers and soak into warm water for 10 seconds on each side.

Place it on a flat surface and stack your seaweed and glass noodles.
Step 7
Carefully fold over the filling on the front and the sides. Then roll the rice paper roll until it closes.
Step 8
Repeat until the glass noodles are gone! This is optional - but you can wrap the roll with a bacon strip for added flavour.

On medium heat, generously coat your pan with cooking oil.
Step 10
Place the rolls gently and let it cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.
Step 11
Make your dipping sauce - 1:1 ratio of soy sauce and vinegar. Add chopped green onions if needed.
