Did you know how easy it is to make pickled onions? I’m currently going through a phase where I’m a little obsessed with them. They are so delicious and easy to make, and I love the bright pink colour.

Instructions

Step 1
To a small saucepan, add the water, white vinegar, sugar and salt. Heat up until the sugar and salt have dissolved. Allow it to cool down a bit.
Step 2
Slice the onions thinly, place them in a jar, and cover them with the liquid.
Step 3
Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. Your onions will be ready to enjoy after 1 hour (although I’ll recommend letting them sit overnight before eating for the best results).
