Instructions
Step 1
Pre heat smoker to 225 degrees.
Step 2
Remove the membrane from the ribs. Rub the ribs with yellow mustard and then sprinkle with Notorious P.I.G.
Step 3
Smoke the ribs for 3 hours (but check after 2.) Once the rub is well adhered to the meat remove for the next step.
Step 4
In double lined heavy duty aluminum foil, place ¼ of the butter, ¼ of the bbq sauce, and ¼ of the Dr. Pepper. Place the ribs, meat side down and repeat the ingredients for the under side of the ribs.
Step 5
Wrap the foil around the ribs, tightly, but take care not to break the foil.
Step 6
Return to smoker for 2 hours.
Step 7
Remove from the foil and baste all over with BBQ sauce and return to the smoker for 1 hour.
Step 8
Allow to rest and enjoy!
