Instructions
Step 1
Fry onion, carrots and celery until soft and fragrant
Step 2
Add tomato paste and fry for 1 more minute
Step 3
Crush canned tomatoes with hands and add to pan. Stir and scrape the bottom of the pan.
Step 4
Add two sprigs of basil, save the rest for topping. Then add oregano and stock cubes.
Step 5
Simmer for 2 hours, while stirring regularly. Add water if consistency is too thick. Taste and adjust seasoning.
Step 6
Cook pasta according to instructions on the package.

Step 7
Blend the sauce to make it silky smooth
