Instructions

Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Stir together wafer crumbs, butter, and white sugar until evenly moistened; press into a 9-inch pie plate. Bake until firm, about 8 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.

2. Meanwhile, microwave chocolate chips and ¾ cup cream in a microwave-safe dish on High, stirring every 30 seconds, until smooth, 1 to 2 minutes. Cool to room temperature, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes. Stir in powdered sugar and vanilla.

3. Beat remaining ¾ cup cream in a bowl with an electric mixer at high speed until soft peaks form, 2 to 3 minutes.
Step 4
Add chocolate mixture, one-third at a time, beating after each addition until well mixed Spoon filling into crust. Chill pie, covered, at least 8 hours or up to 2 days. Serve with desired toppings.
