Instructions
Step 1
Chop aloe vera meat into small chunks and set it aside.
Step 2
In a small pot, add filtered water followed by agar-agar powder. Mix well and make sure all is dissolved with no lumps.
Step 3
Turn the heat on medium and bring to a boil. Let it cook for a few minutes then turn the heat off.
Step 4
Add sugar, stir until dissolved, and let it cool.
Step 5
When the mixture cools to the touch, add chia seed, mix well make sure they are not clumped together. Add the aloe meat and mix thoroughly.
Step 6
Pour the mixture in containers of your choice. If you like to eat more at a time, use bigger ones. I do both, but I like to make smaller portions and keep them in the fridge. They are easier to grab and have just the right amount of it.
Step 7
When it hardens, you can eat right away. If not, cover with lids and refrigerate. It stays fresh for a week or longer, but I like to finish it within a week.
