Instructions
Step 1
Cook the onion bhaji following instructions (mine were from Aldi and took 20 minutes)
Step 2
Prepare the salad: roughly chop lettuce, cut cucumber into cubes and finely slice the red onion
Step 3
Fry the bacon in a pan until cooked and crispy
Step 4
Remove from the pan and chop into squares
Step 5
Chop the halloumi and mix with chopped bacon, curry powder in a bowl
Step 6
Fry the mixture in the pan until halloumi is cooked and bacon is crispy. Season with salt and pepper
Step 7
Once onion bhaji is cooked, chop into bitesized pieces and add to the salad bowl. Top with bacon and halloumi
Step 8
Serve with plain yoghurt and mango chutney
