Instructions

Step 1
Cook onions in oil for a few minutes

Add red lentils to saucepan and cover with water
Step 3
Bring to boil, reduce heat to low and let cook for 20 minutes. Remove lentils from remaining water.
Step 4
Add everything to a large saucepan or slow cooker and bring to boil. Reduce heat to low and let cook for 2 hours
