Step 1
First preheat your oven to 350 and grease a 9 by 9 inch dark baking pan.

Now take a little water in a saucepan and bring it to a simmer.

Add some chocolate to a heat resistant bowl, add on top of the water and let it melt, and add in your butter and mix until it’s melted.

Once your chocolate mix is silky smooth take it off the heat and let it cool to room temperature.

In the meantime in a separate bowl take both brown and white sugars and add whisk in the eggs one at a time.

Once your brownie mix is creamy add in the salt, vanilla, espresso powder, and cooled chocolate mix. Whisk everything until it’s well combined.

Fold in your flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and walnuts.

Now pour your batter into the prepared pan, and then gently shake and tap the baking pan a few times to spread the batter evenly.
Step 9
Bake on 350 for 30 minutes.
Step 10
After 30 minutes take them out the oven and allow them to cool for at least 20 minutes before cutting into them.
