No Bake Banana Pudding - Southern Classic

This classic dessert is a guaranteed crowd pleaser! Perfect for summer time, since it’s served chilled and the added cinnamon gives it a little more depth than your average banana pudding. This recipe has been around ages and for good reason. Stay tuned for the OG baked version of this recipe.

Instructions

Step 1
Whisk together sweetened condensed milk and whole milk. Then, add in your pudding mix and cinnamon mixing until smooth. Feel free to add additional spices sparingly, if you’d like (ie nutmeg, cardamom).

Chill that mixture for 2-3 hours until it thickens into a pudding consistency.

Once the pudding is set, whip together heavy whipping cream and powdered sugar on high, using a hand or stand mixer to make homemade whipped cream.

Combine the whipped cream and pudding mixture by folding it together.

Finally, begin to layer your whipped cream/pudding mixture, vanilla wafers, and thin slices of bananas in a dish.
