Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 425F.
Step 2
Get 2 baking sheets and drizzle some olive oil. Brush them all over the baking sheets including the edges.
Step 3
Wash potatoes and drained them in a medium bowl.
Step 4
Put potatoes in a large saucepot and add water above 1-inch. Boil water on HIGH HEAT for 15 to 20 mins until fork tender.
Step 5
Drain the water from the potatoes, and cool slightly.
Step 6
Transfer the potatoes on the greased baking sheets. Smash them with the back of measuring cup.
Step 7
Sprinkle each of the potatoes with drizzle of olive oil, garlic powder, TJ onion salt, and ground black pepper
Step 8
Bake the smashed and seasoned potatoes in a preheated 425F oven for 25 to 35 mins, or until GOLDEN BROWN. Rotate pans halfway through cooking.
Step 9
Remove smashed potatoes from oven. Season and sprinkle salt, fresh chopped herbs like parsley, thyme and freshly grated parmesan cheese.
Step 10
Serve warm and enjoy!
