Instructions

Step 1
Melt butter and cook chopped onion and garlic for 2 mins.
Step 2
add chopped vegetables and cook until they start to soften. Then add the ground beef, salt and pepper to taste and the tomato paste. Cook until the beef has browned.
Step 3
Add passata and bay leaves. Simmer for 20mins (you can simmer a little less or a lot more depending on the time you have - time is the secret while cooking bolognese)
Step 4
while sauce is simmering, cook pasta in boiling salted water.
Step 5
Add the pasta to the sauce and it's ready ! You can serve with basil and grated cheese of your choice. Bon appétit !
