This is a really cute idea for Spring or Easter . It’s using store bought croissant dough so that’s half the work done already

Instructions

Step 1
I’m using store bought croissant dough in a can so open the can and cut the dough into 4 pieces . Now stretch the middle to make a hole then twist it inside out . Use something round to keep the middle round while baking . I’m using Cannoli molds . You can even roll up tinfoil into balls and put it in the middle . Bake the croissants for 12-15 minutes at 180 c fan /356 f fan setting

Step 2
When the croissants are baked let them cook down . Cut the marzipan into four and use food coloring ( I like to use diff colors . Roll them using gloves to mix the colors in then cut them in half again and roll into egg shapes . Place the egg in the center ( the four extra are for decoration or you can use more croissant dough ) then heat up apricot jam ( or jam of your preference but a light colored jam is preferable ) brush the outsides of the croissants with the jam then sprinkle sprinkles or hundreds and thousands and enjoy
