Philly Cheese Steak Frito Pie

Instructions

Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 400F.

2. Dump ground beef into a large saute pan over medium-

high heat along with a dab of margarine or butter.

3. Add the diced onion and diced green pepper to the pan

with the ground beef as it's cooking.

4. Crumble the ground beef.

5. Once the ground beef is fully cooked, add the water and

gravy mix to the pan.

6. Stir until the gravy mix is fully dissolved.

7. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper to

9. Leave the mixture to continue cooking for 3 minutes to

allow the sauce to thicken.

10. After 3 minutes remove the pan from the heat.

11. Add 1 cup of the shredded mozzarella and cheddar

cheese blend to the pan.

12. Stir until the cheese melts.

13. Dump the ground beef mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch

baking dish and spread it out evenly.

14. Sprinkle the corn chips on top of the ground beef mixture.

15. Sprinkle the remaining 2 cups of shredded cheese on top

of the corn chips.

16. Place the pan in the oven and bake the Frito pie until the

cheese on top is completely melted and just starting to

brown. 8-10 minutes.
