Step 1
Line the slow cooker with baking parchment. In a bowl combine the yeast and sugar together then add the water and mix. Leave for 20 mins. Add the flour, oil and salt and mix into a doughey consistency. Empty onto a floured work top or board, knead into a dough ball for 5 mins. Place on the parchment in the slow cooker - no need to rest or prove for any time -and heat on high for 2 hours with the lid on. After 2 hours lift out of the cooker and brown the top under a grill for 3 mins or so. Leave to cool for 20 mins on a wire rack.
