2 x 6 ozTomato paste

2garlic cloves

2 tspsugar
1 tspitalian seasoning
1 tspsalt
½ tsppepper
3eggs
3 Tbspfresh parsley
minced
3 cupscottage cheese
4%, small-curd
1 x 8 ozRicotta cheese
½ cupparmesan cheese grated
9lasagna noodles
cooked and drained
6slices provolone cheese
3 cupsmozzarella cheese
shredded, divided
Instructions
Step 1
In a large skillet, cook beef and sausage over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Add the tomato sauce, tomato paste, garlic, sugar, seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine eggs and parsley. Stir in the cottage cheese, ricotta, and parmesan cheese.
Step 3
Spread 1 cup of the meat sauce in an ungreased 13x9 in baking dish. Later with 3 noodles, provolone cheese, 2 cups cottage cheese mixture, 1 cup mozzarella, Three noodles, 2 cups meat sauce, remaining cottage cheese mixture, and 1 cup mozzarella.
Step 4
Top with remaining noodles, meat sauce, and mozzarella (dish will be full).
Step 5
Cover and bake at 375° for 50 minutes.
Step 6
Uncover; bake 20 minutes longer or until heated through. Let stand 15 minutes before cutting.
