Instructions

Béchamel Sauce

Step 1
Melt the butter in the pot over medium heat.
Step 2
When the butter is melted add the flour and stir well with a whisk
Step 3
Now add the milk sip by sip and always stir well. There should be no lumps.
Step 4
Season the sauce with salt and pepper and let it thicken for 5 min.

Sandwich

Step 5
Toast the brioche bread until golden brown and grate the cheese.
Step 6
Spread the bottom brioche half with half of the Béchamel sauce. Sprinkle on 1/3 of the cheese on top.
Step 7
Place the ham on top. Add another third of the cheese on the ham.
Step 8
Spread the other brioche half with the mustard. Place the brioche, mustard side down, on top of the cheese.
Step 9
Spread the rest of the Béchamel sauce on the top of the brioche. Sprinkle on the rest of the cheese.
Step 10
Bake the sandwich in the oven at 200 degrees for about 5-8 min until the cheese is melted.
