Instructions

Step 1
Make long slits in each sausage and remove the skins. Chop into small pieces.
Step 2
Add 1 tsp oil into a non-stick frying pan, and fry the garlic and sausagemeat. Mash down and brown well.
Step 3
Add the chopped tomatoes, sundried tomato paste, basil and sugar. Bring to the boil, cover and simmer for 30 - 40 minutes.
Step 4
Meanwhile, add the pasta to a large pan of boiling salted water, and cook for about 12 minutes, until al dente.
Step 5
Toss the sauce with the drained pasta, and half of the parmesan.
Step 6
Serve and scatter with the remaining parmesan.
