Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350ºF
Step 2
Thinly slice onions and bell pepper

Add 1 tbsp butter to a pan, allow to bubble, add onions and sauté until golden brown and caramelized, cook about 10 minutes, remove from heat and set aside in bowl

In same pan, add bell pepper, cook until soft and slightly browned, about 10 minutes

In a large baking dish, lightly brush bottom with melted butter. Cut rolls in half and place bottom half in pan. Add roast beef, veggies, seasonings of choice, dijon, and cheese to bottom layer. Add light layer of mayo on top bun, place and add a layer of melted butter on top of buns and sprinkle with everything but the bagel seasoning.
Step 6
Place in oven for 15 minutes, covered with foil.
Step 7
While cooking, combine ingredients for au jus: broth, bouillon, dijon, rosemary, thyme and bring to a simmer and ingredients are incorporated.
Step 8
Remove foil from pan and continue to bake for an extra 2-3 minutes.
Step 9
Slice into squares and serve
