Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
Step 2
To make the glaze, in a small pot, melt 1 stick (1/2 cup) salted butter with 2 Tablespoons light brown sugar 1/2 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, and 1/2 Tablespoon mustard and stir until thoroughly melted and combined.
Step 3
Meanwhile, take 12 ounce package King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls out of package and slice through all the rolls (while still attached), cutting them in half horizontally.
Step 4
Brush the glaze mixture onto both insides of the rolls (be generous with the glaze), covering well. You need to leave a little leftover for the tops of the rolls.
Step 5
Place bottom half of rolls into a 9×13-inch baking dish. Place 12 slices smoked ham evenly on the rolls then top with 12 slices Monterey Jack or Colby Jack cheese.
Step 6
Put top half of rolls on top and then brush the tops with leftover glaze mixture. Spinkle the top evenly with poppy seeds (optional)
Step 7
Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
