Instructions
Step 1
Place the rice, water, and salt in a medium pot with a tight-fitting lid and bring to a boil.
Step 2
Reduce the heat to a low simmer, cover, and cook for about 45 minutes, or until all of the water has been absorbed.
Step 3
Never stir the rice while it is cooking.
Step 4
Remove the rice from the heat and let stand in the pot, covered, for about 10 minutes.
