Smothered Steak
Step 1
First clean your steak with warm water, vinegar, & lime. Then, season steak with ingredients. Season flour with dame ingredients.
Then, rub steak with seasoned flour

garlic powder½ tsp
chili powder½ tsp
creole seasoning½ tsp
Step 2
Next, in a large sized saucepan, fill with vegetable oil. Heat on medium heat. Once heated, place steaks inside oil. Cook on each side for about 3-4 minutes.
Set aside once finished.
Step 3
Melt butter in the same pan over medium heat.
Add onions/bell peppers and sauté for 15-20 minutes. Then, add remaining gravy ingredients. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Next, add the steaks back to the pan, spoon gravy over the top. Then simmer for 5-7 minutes or until gravy is thick.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Step 4
First, wash potatoes. Next, peel potatoes (peel halfway if you prefer skin in mixture) Then, Cut the potatoes into uniform chunks and place in a saucepan along with the garlic. Cover with water, bring to a boil, lower heat to medium and cook until the potatoes are tender, about 20 minutes.

Drain the potatoes and garlic. Mash them together. Stir in the hot cream, season to taste with salt, pepper, garlic salt, and add butter.
