12wonton wrappers
¼ cuppepperoni
chopped into small pieces
½ cupmozzarella cheese shredded
2 Tbspmarinara sauce
plus more dipping
½ tspitalian seasoning
water

Instructions
Step 1
In a small bowl, mix to combine pepperoni, mozzarella, marinara, and Italian seasoning.
Step 2
Lay a wonton wrapper on a board so that it’s in the shape of a diamond.
Step 3
Add a heaping teaspoon of the mixture. Don’t fill the wonton up so much that it doesn’t seal properly.
Step 4
Wet your fingertip with water and dab onto the edges. Fold the sides over the center of the filling making a rectangle envelope shape. Seal the edges with water to make sure that no filling will leak out while frying.
Step 5
Heat oil to 375 F. Carefully add a few wontons to the oil and fry for 2-3 minutes until they are golden brown. Don’t add too many at once because it will bring the oil temperature down and the wontons won’t be crisp.
Step 6
Remove the pizza rolls from the oil when they are golden brown and place them on a plate lined with paper towels.
Step 7
Serve immediately with marinara sauce for dipping.
Air fryer
Step 8
Heat your air fryer to 400 F. Brush pizza rolls with oil. Cook for 6-10 minutes, flip and cook for about 4 minutes.
