Instructions
Step 1
Add milk, peppercorns, bay and shallot to a pan over low heat for 5 mins. Strain milk into a jug
Step 2
Melt butter over medium heat
Step 3
Add flour and stir until it forms a ball. Cool for 2-3 minutes to cook out the flour
Step 4
Slowly add the milk a small bit at a time. Best until all milk is absorbed
