1kgchicken thighs
deboned
1onion
large, cut into strips
1 basketchampagne mushrooms
crimini works too
0.25 bunchcilantro
chopped
5cloves of garlic
1 tablespoonbrown sugar
3 tablespoonssweet chili sauce
3 tablespoonsTeriyaki sauce
ÂĽ teaspoonblack pepper
ÂĽ cupchicken broth
1 tablespoonsweet paprika
ÂĽ teaspoonturmeric
1 teaspoonsalt
1 cupchestnuts
3 Tbspolive oil

Instructions
Step 1
In a large oiled skillet over medium heat, sauté the onion until golden brown. Then add the sugar and mix for about a minute until the sugar melts.
Step 2
Add the chicken and fry for about 3 minutes on each side
Step 3
Add the mushrooms, and after a few minutes also the garlic cloves, chili, teriyaki, and all the spices. Cook for a few more minutes.
Step 4
Sprinkle cilantro on top, switch to low heat, cover the pot and cook for about 45 minutes.
Step 5
Add chestnuts into the pot for the last 10 minutes
Step 6
Sprinkle sesame seeds and scallions before serving.
