Instructions

Step 1
Add in the 1 stick + 2 tablespoons butter and sugar. Blend together. It is good if the butter is softened, but not melted
Step 2
Add in the egg and vanilla. Mix until smooth
Step 3
Stir together the oat flour with the salt and baking soda
Step 4
Stir in the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. This dough will be stickier than normal cookie dough. Add in the chocolate chips and stir by hand.
Step 5
Refrigerate at least 2 hours or longer. The longer the better
Step 6
Preheat the oven to 350 F
Step 7
Spoon the dough onto the baking sheet
Step 8
Cook for 9-10 minutes, until the edges are slightly golden brown.
