Step 1
Cook the pasta, drain and put to one side.
Step 2
Add butter to pan. Once melted, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
Step 3
Add flour and 0.5 cups of milk at a time and whisk constantly. Once heated through and thickened, add vegan soft cheese and whisk until smooth.
Step 4
Add nutritional yeast, white pepper, onion salt, garlic powder, lemon juice, salt and pepper (if using) and a few drops of tobasco (if using). Stir to combine. Add dry parsley (if using).
Step 5
Add pasta to sauce and stir to combine.
Step 6
Add cooked vegan sausage (if using) and heat through.
Step 7
Serve and garnish with parsley.
