Tasty Cannellini Sausages

These bangers are a welcome addition to any breakfast, sandwich, or mid week meal. Packed with protein and fibre whilst bursting with flavour. A big hit for all the family, simply multiply the ingredients to stock up the freezer.

Instructions

Step 1
Heat 1/2 the oil on a medium heat and fry the onion for 2 minutes. Add the garlic and fry for a further 2 minutes.
Step 2
In a bowl mix together the breadcrumbs siracha, maple syrup, chives, salt, pepper, cannellini beans and the onion and garlic.
Step 3
Using a fork or masher, combine the ingredients until they form a smooth mixture, turn out onto a chopping board.
Step 4
Divide the mixture into 8 and roll out into sausage shapes. Wrap each sausage in cling film and twist tightly at each end like a Christmas cracker. Chill in the fridge for 2 hours.
Step 5
Steam the sausages for 20 minutes. If batch cooking, allow to cool and store in the refrigerator for 7 days or freeze for 3 months.
Step 6
Pan fry in the remaining oil, cook on the BBQ, griddle or airfry for 10-12 minutes.
