Create the sauce
Step 1
Mix together your soy sauce, white vinegar, brown sugar, chili garlic paste and spices together. Then set aside, we’ll finish it later!

Creating the main dish
Step 2
Start by stir frying your broccoli in a wok in 1 tablespoon of oil. Place a lid (if you have one) and let it cook and sear until crisp tender once finished remove from heat and wipe wok. Next another tablespoon oil to your wok, reheat then add minced garlic and chopped onions. These do not need to be uniform cuts, just roughly chop the onion

Next cut and coat the chicken in flour

Add chicken to hot wok working in small batches to fry the chicken, cook on each side about 3-4 minutes on medium heat

Make a slurry with 1:1.5 tablespoons of flour to water and add to sauce

Cook sauce on medium heat and boil for 3-5 minutes to cook the flour and thicken the sauce

Add in cashews and diced green onions cook for 5-10 minutes

Add in the chicken and vegetables and cook for another 5-10 minutes until everything is coated in sauce and cooked through
