Instructions

Step 1
Set sauté mode on instant pot for ten minutes. As the pot heats add water, oil and one teaspoon of salt.
Step 2
Heat until wisps of steam begin to rise off the water. Stir in the macaroni, turn off the heat and lock the lid on the cooker.
Step 3
Set pressure on high for four minutes with the keep warm setting off. Make sure valve is closed.
Step 4
While pasta is cooking, combine remaining ingredients into a saucepan, first mixing the flour and milk together before adding the remaining ingredients. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sauce comes to a boil. Turn off element and remove from heat.
Step 5
When pressure cooker has finished cooking, use the quick release method to bring the pressure back to normal.
Step 6
List the insert out of the pot and drain the macaroni. Add the sauce and macaroni back into instant pot insert and return to the cooker.
Step 7
Stir until well mixed then place air fryer lid on instant pot. Set lid to 400 degrees for 8.5 minutes.
