Instructions
Prepare and cook the chilli and onion
Step 1
Peel and fine chop 1 onion, remove the seeds from the chilli and fine chop. Soften in a little oil, when ready empty onto a piece of kitchen roll to drain.
Prepare the mince beef
Step 2
Chop the mince to separate it, then place in a mixing bowl
Add spices
Step 3
Add the ginger, garlic, curry powder, tomato puree, salt, pepper, onion and chilli to the mince beef and thoroughly mix together
Making the Burgers
Step 4
Separate the mince into equal parts and shape into patties making sure the meat is pressed together. If you can cover in greaseproof paper and leave overnight in the fridge to allow the flavour to develop. If you can't just cook them.
Cooking
Step 5
We cooked ours for 10 minutes at 180 in the air fryer turning them half way, but you can barbeque or fry these
Indian salad
Step 6
Cut some thin strips of cucumber and thinly slice the other onion. Mix 1 Tsp mint sauce with 150ml natural yoghurt. Pour over and mix into the cucumber and onion.
Serving suggestion
Step 7
Serve the Burger by itself or in a bread of your choice. We added some chips and curry sauce
