Instructions
Step 1
Heat butter in a large sautรฉ pan over medium heat. Once melted, add onion and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Step 2
Add garlic and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 1-2 minutes
Step 3
Stir in sausage, penne, red pesto, and water. Reduce heat and cook, covered for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Stir in broccoli and cook for an additional 5 minutes
Step 5
Remove from heat and top with parmesan, tomatoes, and basil
