Instructions

Step 1
1. In a medium saucepan, combine the blueberries, red wine, cloves, castor sugar and cinnamon stick.

2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

3. Reduce the heat to low and simmer the mixture for about 10 - 15 minutes, or until the blueberries are soft and the mixture has thickened.

4. Increase the heat to medium and continue to cook the mixture until the sauce reduces.
Step 5
5. Remove the sauce from the heat and allow it to cool for a few minutes.
Step 6
6. Serve the sauce warm over scoops of vanilla ice cream over crushed Tennis biscuits.
Step 7
This jus is also magnificent alongside steak.
