Instructions

Step 1
Trim and thin slice green onions at an angle. Keep white and green portions separate.
Step 2
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add bacon and white portions of green onions to pan. Stir constantly until green onions start to soften, 1-2 minutes.
Step 3
Add ground beef, mushrooms, salt, and pepper. Stir often, breaking up meat, until mushrooms are softened, no pink remains on ground beef, and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature reaches 160 F, 5-6 minutes.
Step 4
Drain excess oil from pan, if desired.
Step 5
Stir in cream cheese, demi-glaze, water, and garlic salt into pan. Bring to a simmer.
Step 6
Once simmering, stir constantly, until cream cheese is melted and sauce is combined. 2-3 minutes.
Step 7
Stir in pasta and swiss cheese until creamy. If too thick, add additional water. 1 tablespoon at a time, until desired consistency is reached.
Step 8
Remove from burner. Taste and add a pinch of salt and/or pepper if desired.
