HOW TO MAKE THE CRISPIEST BRUSSEL SPROUTS!
7 steps
Prep:10minCook:20min
It’s officially fall, and to me that means brussel sprouts! These are the low key superfood of the season because they are packed with tons of vitamins, antioxidants, and full of fiber, yet they never get the recognition they deserve. Well this post is my way honoring such a great superfood. Diets high in veggies like brussel sprouts can provide many added health benefits including improved immune system health, decreased inflammation, and an improved gut health. This is just another perfect reason to fall in love with these high nutrient vegetables.
With just a few ingredients, you can take this almost tasteless veggie and turn it into a crunchy, caramelized treat. Just in time for the holidays. I love this recipe because you can meal prep this dish before hand, and then bring to your next holiday party or dinner. Plus it’s a super simple recipe you can whip up under 30 minutes.
These brussel sprouts are:
-vegan
-dairy free
-gluten free
-a yummy caramelized treat
-THE go-to appetizer for holiday parties
-a heart healthy superfood snack

By now your oven and sheet pan are hot. Carefully take your hot sheet pan out, and pour your prepped brussels onto it. This will help create a layer of delicious caramelization!

Step 6
Bake at 400 for 15-25 minutes, depending on the size of your brussel sprouts, the bigger ones take longer to cook. Be sure to shake the pan halfway through roasting them. You’ll know when they are done when they are fork tender and golden brown.
