Instructions
Step 1
Rub butter into flour until mixture resembles fine bread crumbs.
Step 2
Stir in salt and sugar and make a hole in centre of the mixture and add the egg and vanilla essence.
Step 3
Mix well to form soft dough and chill in fridge for 30 minutes.
Step 4
Roll out and cut in shapes and place on a greased tray and bake at 200°C for about 12 minutes until golden brown.
Step 5
Decorate as desired!
