Bananas Foster Cake

6 steps
Prep:25minCook:1h
This banana cake is super moist and packed with so much flavor! It’s perfectly paired with the classic bananas foster (bananas sautéed in a cinnamon caramel sauce) and ice cream! I partnered with PAM® to create this recipe and was happy to use their baking spray to get a perfectly released Bundt cake!

Start by mashing your ripe bananas, and set aside. If your bananas are not ripe, you can bake them in the oven at 350f for 10min.
Step 2
Sift together your flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices. Set aside.
Step 3
Whisk together the butter, yogurt, vanilla, and sugars. Mix in the eggs, and then fold in the mashed bananas. Fold in the dry ingredients.
Step 4
Use PAM® Baking Spray generously on your Bundt pan, and pour in the batter. Bake at 350f for 45min.

Step 5
To make the banana foster, mix the brown sugar, butter, vanilla, and cinnamon in a sauce pan over medium-high heat. Stir until the butter is melted and the caramel bubbles. Add the bananas, halved lengthwise, and cook gently until they’re soft.
Step 6
Allow the banana cake to completely cool down before inverting on a pan. Serve the banana foster over a slice of the banana cake with ice cream and chopped nuts, and enjoy!
