1. Preheat the oven to 180° fan oven or gas mark 4.

2. Cream together your butter, and sugars then once creamed add the egg and vanilla.

3. Sift in the flour and salt, them add your chocolate chips/chunks.

4. Roll into walnut sized balls, then place on ungreased baking paper. If you want a doughy cookie cook for 7 mins or if you don't cook for 10 mins till golden around the edges.
