Instructions
Step 1
Melt your butter in a casserole over medium low heat.
Step 2
In the meantime, chop your chocolate then add it to your melted butter. Turn the heat off and stir for a couple of mins or until the chocolate completely melts. Set aside.
Step 3
In a bowl, whisk eggs with sugar for a couple of mins, then swift your flour and cocoa in and finally your melted butter with chocolate.
Step 4
Gently mix everything until all the ingredients are incorporated.
Step 5
Add your brownie mix in a cake tin previously buttered and lined with parchment paper (I used a 20cm cake tin).
Step 6
Bake for 25-30 mins (180C/350F).
Step 7
In the meantime, let’s make a quick chocolate ganache.
Step 8
Chop your chocolate then add it to a bowl.
Step 9
In a small sauce pan over medium low heat, add heavy cream and warm it up until you start seeing some little bubbles on the surface (you don’t want your heavy cream to fully boil).
Step 10
Pour your hot cream in the bowl with your chocolate and let it sit for 5 mins. This way your chocolate will start to melt.
Step 11
Now you can give it a nice stir and add your chocolate ganache on top of your baked brownies.
Step 12
Let your brownies with ganache on top completely cool down then let it rest in the fridge for 1 hour.
Step 13
Serve with some salt flakes on top.
Step 14
Buon appetito!
