Step 1
Cream butter and brown sugar, add flour and nuts.

Reserve 1 cup.
Step 3
Press remainder in (8 inch) square pan. Bake at 350° F for 12-15 minutes. Cool.

Blend white sugar with cheese, add egg, milk, lemon juice and vanilla.

Pour over crust.
Step 6
Sprinkle the reserved cup of flour, sugar, butter mixture on top.

Return to 350° F oven for 25 minutes.
