Instructions

Step 1
Brown butter on stovetop until golden brown and smelling nutty. Pour into a mixing bowl when ready and combine with white and brown sugars.
Step 2
Add eggs, baking soda, salt and vanilla. Mix.
Step 3
Fold in flour, when combined mix in chocolate.
Step 4
Chill dough for 30 minutes and preheat oven to 375.
Step 5
Use a tablespoon to scoop and roll large balls of dough and press down into the cookie sheet.
Step 6
Bake for 12-13 minutes and slam cookie sheet on the counter a couple times for a crackly texture. Sprinkle with flaky salt and transfer to wire rack to cool.
