Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200C (fan)
Step 2
Cut the puff pastry into 12 equal squares.
Step 3
Transfer 6 squares to the baking tray, lined with parchment. Spread 1 tbsp pesto on top of each square( leave the edges free) add sliced cherry tomatoes in the middle and cover with 1 tbsp mozzarella cheese.
Step 4
On the remaining puff pastry squares cut the vent using a small size cookie cutter.
Step 5
Place them on top of the puff pastry squares with filling and secure the edges using a fork.
Step 6
For the egg wash combine egg yolk and milk, then brush the puff pastry with the mixture.
Step 7
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake for 15 minutes or until golden.
