Chicken, Sausage, and Shrimp Gumbo

This is a flavorful recipe for a triple protein gumbo. It is adapted from various recipes that I've seen around, so I can't take full credit. You may sub the protein options with others of your choice. Servings are measured in cups per person. I hope you enjoy it!

Instructions
Step 1
Dice the onion, pepper, and jalepeño

Slice the sausage
Step 3
Place a 5 to 7 quart pot over medium heat and add the ghee into it
Step 4
Add the onion, pepper, and jalapeno with a lobe of garlic into the pot and saute together until onions are semi clear
Step 5
add into the pot mix the chicken, the gumbo base, the tomatoe, the broth, and the water.
Step 6
Bring to a boil, cover the pot, and reduce the heat to a low to medium flame
Step 7
Cook for 13 minutes then add the shrimp into the pot and cook together for another 2 minutes.
Step 8
Remove from heat
Step 9
Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes before serving
