Cheesy Sambusa, the perfect Ramadan appetizer! These are a must on my iftar table almost every night. The blend of cheeses and flavours are so good and everyone raves about how delicious they are every time I serve them.

Instructions

Step 1
Make cheese mixture by combining the first 6 ingredients in a bowl
Step 2
Lay down an egg roll wrapper in a diamond shape, dab the flour mixture on the sides
Step 3
Add about 1/2 tbsp of the cheese mixture on the bottom half, tuck the bottom over the cheese, fold in the sides, and roll tightly
Step 4
To freeze, lay cheese rolls on a parchment lined sheet pan, after 24 hours, pack in a ziploc bag
Step 5
Frying: Shallow fry in neutral oil for a few minutes, until golden brown on all sides
Step 6
Air Fry: Brush rolls with oil (or spray) Air fry until golden brown 400 F for 10 mins
