Instructions
Step 1
Combine garlic, ginger, soy sauce, honey, oyster sauce, sesame oil, Shaoxing wine, five spice powder, and Char Siu seasoning in a large bowl.
Step 2
Wash and dry pork neck. Slice the pork lengthwise into 1-2 inch wide sections of meat (about 1/3 of pork neck per section).
Step 3
Marinate the pork neck in the sauce overnight (or 2 days for the best results).
Step 4
Preheat oven 180°C (356°F). Line baking sheet with foil and place wire baking rack on top. Put the pork neck onto the rack without pouring the marinade.
Step 5
Pour the marinade into a pot on the stove over medium heat until it reduces by half.
Step 6
Brush the reduced sauce over the pork, and roast in oven for 15 minutes.
Step 7
After the 15 minutes, brush the meat with sauce again, and continue roasting for another 15 minutes.
Step 8
Repeat step 7.
Step 9
Take the pork out of the oven. Brush with sauce again and let rest for 20 minutes before slicing into thin, bite-sized strips.
Step 10
Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Combine with noodle sauce ingredients and mix well.
Step 11
Plate the pork on top of noodles with bok choy, chopped green onions, and fried onions optional and enjoy!
