This is an amazing lemonade because of the lemon oil simple syrup combined with fresh lemon juice.

Instructions
Step 1
Peel 12 lemons using a vegetable peeler without any the piths. Transfer them to a large bowl.
Step 2
Add sugar to the lemon peels, and toss them until peels are covered with sugar. Let them steep for 2 HRS.
Step 3
While you are steeping, juice 12 lemons into another bowl. Set aside.
Step 4
Boil 1 liter of water in a pot over MEDIUM-HIGH HEAT. Pour slowly the hot water over the peels. Let it steep few more hours until cooled. Stir until lemon peel syrup is fully combined. When syrup is cooled, strain to another bowl.
Step 5
Pour some ice in pitchers and a glass. Pour in fresh lemon juice and the lemon peel syrup together in the pitcher and glass.
Step 6
** Cherry Lemonade - 1 glass of State Fair Lemonade + plus 5 cherries, juiced. Mix and enjoy!
VARIETY OF STATE FAIR CITRUSADE:
Step 7
You can substitute lemons for orange, limes, Grapefruit , calamansi or any other citrus fruits. Macerate citrus peels with same amount of granulated sugar for 2 hours. Follow the same procedures as you would prepare the drink.
