Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan/Gas Mark 4. Lightly grease a medium-sized rectangular baking dish.
Step 2
Melt the butter, honey and brown sugar together in a saucepan over a medium heat, stirring until you have a rich syrup. Remove from the heat.
Step 3
Mash the ripe bananas together in a bowl.
Step 4
Fold the oats into the mashed banana, then pour in the butter and honey syrup and stir until everything is well combined.
Step 5
Spoon the mixture into the baking dish and smooth the top. Bake for 45 minutes, or until golden at the edges.
Step 6
Leave to cool for five minutes before scoring out your flapjacks with a sharp knife. Leave to cool completely then slice and remove from the dish.
