Step 1
Mix together pumpkin puree, beaten eggs, and 3/4 brown sugar in large mixing bowl
Step 2
Add in salt and spices. Stir well.
Step 3
Mix in evaporated milk and molasses. Stir until smooth and combined.
Step 4
Pour filling into unbaked pie shell and bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Then lower the oven temperature to 350 degrees and bake for 45 minutes. The pie is done when firm and browned on top, and a knife inserted comes out clean. May need to add pie crust protector partway through baking.
Step 5
Serve at room temperature or chilled, with whipped cream.
